 One of a kind hand drawn india ink and watercolor Original Art Circa 1940 with Terry and the Pirates main character Terry Lee and April Kane ! Not a print or reproduction ! Unconditionally guaranteed authentic and as described ! No hidden reserve ! Terry figure is 10 1/4" tall on slightly larger thin art board w/ blue suit w/ bow tie on a separate cut out paper sheet. April Kane is 10" tall on slightly larger thin art board w/ polka dot dress on a separate cut out paper sheet. Pair comes with five more outfits drawn in ink and watercolor on separate cut out paper sheets. Outfits appear to be for other Milton Caniff "Terry" comic strip females, including the Dragon Lady and Burma . Condition : Art is bright and Excellent. We're unsure if these are prototype designs or if they were actually used in a paper doll book. Artist is unknown, but appears to be by one of Caniff's art assistants. Unique Collectibles !
