Description I bought this from a museum near the California coast a long time ago. I called once a year and asked the owner if she would sell, and to my surprise she finally said yes! This doll has been living in a protected environment ever since! She is one of my favorites partly because I LOVE PURPLE!! She is from 1953 and she is a strung doll NOT a walker. She has the much harder to find brunnette hair! Eyes open and close very easily. Hair has not been combed. Lots of good pictures below. She is wearing her correct organdy panties with several rows of lace on them! The panties are high on her waist and have an eyelet that the ties from her pinafore dress go through. No tag on clothes but guaranteed original. Clothes are clean but may have been rinsed at some point. Still have lots of crispness to them! She will not be sold for less than starting price so please don't ask. There is no buy it now on her. She is welcome to live here as long as she likes, if someone else doesn't like her as much as I do............... Any questions please ask.
