It has a lovely black leather handle for carrying and gold metal closures as well as gold metal caps around eash corner to make the trunk even more sturdy and decorative.The outside is covered with drawings of Muffy and Hoppy in charming pastel pink,blue and yellow.on a white background. The central graphic is a drawing of Muffy and Hoppy sleeping in there bunks after a long day of play.The trunk even comes with a luggage tag with drawings of Muffy and all her friends on it. The inside of the trunk features two lavender blue compartments. The side with the bunks measures 16.5" high x 11.5" wide x 6" deep.Two lovely bed are made up with cushy mattresses and covered with a linen fabric,  bear, bunny and carrot print.There are also two comfy matching pillows. Beneath the bottom bunk is a storage drawer marked "Extra Things". The other inside section measures 16.5" x 11.5" x 3 " deep. There is a metal hanger at the top to hold all of Muffy's extra clothing,P.J.'s robe ,slippers etc.( many,many fabulous outfit are being sold seperately in another one of my auctions).
