Description This pretty bebe' is my reproduction of the much desired antique original dolls made by Jules Nicolas Steiner in Paris, France from 1855 - 1908.  If she were indeed an antique in this immense size, she would be valued at over $15,000.  She has all the look at a fraction of the price!  I love the almond shaped eyes!  I used custom oval paperweight blue glass eyes that are almost identical to the antique eyes used originally by Jules Steiner. Her wig is made of human hair and is extra long. Can easily be curled if so desired.  I'm absolutely crazy to sell this hat!  It is a true edwardian period antique and fabulous in colbalt blue velvet with original flower trims! It was used by Paramount Studio's prior to my ownership.  Impossible to replace, but looks so good on her, I had to let it go with her.  Her cream mohair cape is also an antique and is in lovely condition.  I've never seen another like it.  Her dress is vintage and fits her so well.  It has very pretty lace accents with ruching down the front bodice.  Long sleeves are pushed up to the elbows for a  leg-o-mutton effect.  She also wears a muslin half slip and antique child's underwear.  Her unique stockings are handmade nubby texture knit and her leather suede shoes have pointed toes and ribbon rosettes on the toes. Her ears are pierced and she wears dangle style earrings.  Her chunky french style composition body is fully jointed with swivel wrists and detailed hands that are tinted and blushed.  She is marked into her bisque with my signature Colleen Phillips, and the year 2008.  Price reduced for cash sale!  Thanks for looking.  I'll be out of town and away from computer service until Tuesday afternoon when the auction ends, so please know I'll write as soon as I can.
