Lady Katharine Dollhouse is scale 1" = 1' Three story, eight room front closing dollhouse is 37" wide and 31" to the peak x 15" deep = 20 1/2 " deep including the front porch.  Exterior and parts of interior are handpainted by known local artist who usually sells her items through furniture or specialty stores.  The house has been fully wired for electricity but not all rooms are lighting up properly. Kitchen:  All cabinets, dishwasher and stove were made esp. for this kitchen and have been painted cream color with panels papered to match wallpaper.  The floor is green faux marble.  Lace curtains for 2 windows. Wired for hanging brass chandelier. Living Room:  White carpeting. Wallpaper is gold specks over ultramarine blue 2/3 up the wall with a border dividing the 1/2" stripes of blue and gold below.  Two working outlets for lamps. Library Den: Walls papered to appear as book lined library.  Window treatment to look like the Roman Shades.  The floor is stained and faux finished.  Two working outlets for lamps. Children's Room:  Pink carpeting and long, white tieback curtains.  Wallpaper is done in child's theme.  Overhead working ceiling fixture in frosted rose shape glass. Bathroom:  Yellow and white striped wallpaper.  Small octagon tile floor.  Wired for 2 sconces for light fixtures - 1 works. Hall:  Papered in wall mural with white carpeting.  Working ceiling fixture. Master Bedroom : Papered in soft green toile at the top and two tone green striped at the bottom with border separating them.  Two working outlets for lamps.  Floor is stained and finished with faux treatment.  Window treatments are green and white ticking valances with lace half curtains. Third Floor Attic area: 2 rooms - Wired for hanging Tiffany lamp and table lamp in one room, the other room has one wall outlet.  Walls and floors are painted a golden tan. Curtains for 2 dormer windows are lace. Front Porch - Two working carriage lights on either side of front door. Fish pond is available for exterior of house. A stairway with newel post came with the installation, but was removed.  It is available if someone wants to open up the 2nd floor and reinstall it. Investment in this dollhouse was $800 for the house as a kit and to have assembled and constructed.  Cost of wallpaper, paint, window treatments, cost to have wired for electricity, carpeting, flooring, light fixtures, custom kitchen cabinets was $700.
