Description
Here is a prize from my collection that alas, I must sell. It's a giant 28" marked EJ Jumeau bebe marked E12J on the back of her head. She has PERFECT bisque head with no cracks, chips, hairlines, wig pulls or any damage. She has bulbous dark blue eyes in their original set. The bisque is very fine and the painting is light and fair. She is on a chunky jointed french body torso marked in blue with the typical Jumeau mark. she has large hands and fixed wrists. She has what appears to be her original cork pate and blonde wavy mohair wig in good condition, and her head is attached with the original spring mechanism. She is wearing full french antique undies (pantaloons and chemise) with no damage and a lovely antique french eyelet offwhite Jumeau frock. She has fine stockings and frail french black leather shoes. Atop her head is a darling antique black velvet bonnet. This doll has the Theriault's Gold Horse Guarantee in excess of five figures so please keep that in mind for investment purposes. Because of the value I will ship this doll US Registered Insured Mail, and I will quote you the cost upon conclusion of auction.
