Over 1500 hours have gone into building, wiring, decorating this house. It is stunning down to the most minute details...wallpaper, flooring,  Completely wired with electricity...45 light bulbs in all inside of floor lamps, table lamps, ceiling lights, wall sconces chandeliers, candle lights, fireplace, ceiling fan... INCLUDES A FULLY REVOLVING HEAVY DUTY STAND.  1  Cir-Kit transformers....(1) 40 watt which lights the whole house.  There is a separate wiring for a 10 watt transformer to the living room to accomodate a life-like lighted Christmas Tree (tree & transformer not included).  Wood floors in living room and entire 3rd floor. Parquet wood floor in foyer.   11 LARGE rooms in addition to foyer.   Each room has 2 or more lightbulbs in fixtures.  There is a lighted ceiling fan in the kitchen that was $25, a chandelier in the dining room that was $25; a chandelier in the foyer that was $50.  The living room has a 3 fixture lamp, a 2 fixture lamp, lighted logs in the fireplace and 2 candlesticks on the mantel.  There are wall sconces in the bathroom and the two bedrooms on the third floor and the dining room.  Many of the rooms have a celing light and then a lamp.  Only one room is completely unfinished except for the electrical and lighting.  I was planning on making this a laundry/sewing room...but never got around to it.This could be completed in probably 40-60 more hours. That doesn't seem like much after spending at least 1500 hours on it. But truthfully I just don't see it happening in my life over the next 10 years...and it is a shame for this to all stay packed away.This is ideal for an adult (with an inner child who always wanted a dollhouse to take her cares away).  I wouldn't recommend the house for any child under the age of 10 because of the delicate nature of the working light fixtures and delicate wood furniture. What needs to be completed is;  the carpet pieces & bathroom tile floor are already cut and laid in the rooms...just needs to be adhered down. The wood and parquet flooring in several rooms has already been stained and completely installed.  The windows (already painted) need to be adhered and the trim work added on the insides. The interior doors & molding (included)  need to be painted or stained and adhered. Over $100 in lace curtains (one for each of the 12 windows) need to be hung. And the trim molding (baseboard) needs to be stained, cut (mini miter saw and other tools included) and adhered. The skylights and foyer attic window also need to be adhered and the roof shingles need to be dyed and placed on the roof. ALL OF THESE ITEMS HAVE ALREADY BEEN PURCHASED AND ARE INCLUDED WITH THE DOLLHOUSE, FURNITURE, ETC.  The value of the doors, trim, curtains, carpets, saw, is over $300 alone.The house alone with no wiring or decorating hours would cost $800-$1,000 for a dollhouse builder to build.  The house and siding is complete.   This is truly way below actual dollars invested here. The kit (box of wood/plans/siding pack) alone cost over $800 plus tax of another $48. I have spent over $1,500 in light fixtures, wiring, transformers (all included and all completely installed).  Close to another $500 was spent in wall paper, flooring, interior doors & fixtures, lace curtains, All these are extras not included when buying a kit. Its all here for the right person!
