Description
Purchased at Disney World in 1977 this Mint in Box with Certificate of Authenticity WINNIE THE POOH has been in storage ever since He is from a Smoke Free environment and looks and smells the way he did when he left the Gund factory 11 years ago. This lovely Angora Mohair POOH is part of the 100 Acre Wood Collection that was an exclusive issue of The Walt Disney Company.Commissioned by Disney and created by the master artists of Gund he is part of a very Limited Edition of only 750 Worldwide. Measuring 16" tall ,POOH has been meticulously constructed to capture his endearing personality.He is wearing a short red velvet shirt and a lovely lavender and lemon yellow knit scarf.Apparently he has just found and eaten a jar of honey because his glass button eyes are smiling.Gund has given him a black velvet suede nose,pink suede mouth and stitched black brows.As always his golden mohair fur tummy is very chubby and tubby.His arms,legs and head are fully articulated. His two white tags read,"100ACRE WOODS LIMITED EDITION OF 750 ,GENUINE MOHAIR &MADE EXCLUSIVELYFOR THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY BY GUND,DISNEY 1977".Mint in the original box for TIGGER He has a Certificate of Authenticity.This very rare Disney PHOOH BEAR is a must have for any serious collector.
