She has side-glancing eyes, rosy cheeks and two-tone red & coral pursed mouth. Her glamour costume consists of an orange bodice with long slitted sleeves and white cotton puffed undersleeves. The orange and brown felt skirt has a wide, hand-embroidered border made up of stylized birds and zigzag designs worked in white, brown and yellow threads. The doll is wearing a black kerchief with black fringe trim. The petticoat and pantalets are edged with crocheted lace, original socks and brown felt shoes, all in perfect condition. The doll has "Lenci MADE IN ITALY" written in the dress and all the characteristics we look for in a Lenci: joined third and fourth fingers, double felt applied ears, two white dots surrounding the black pupils of her eyes, jointed arms and legs, typical zigzag seam on the back of the head. The Lenci doll is in exceptional condition. No tears, no damage, no odors.  She has lived in a smoke-free home. What a fabulous addition this would make to a doll collection. Thank you for looking. L’accostamento arancio/marrone trionfa nell’abbigliamento di panno tutto completo e originale: corsetto arancio bordato di giallo con ampie maniche da cui si intravede la camicia bianca di tela, gonna marrone con alto bordo arancio ricamata a mano con decori di uccelli stilizzati e motivo a zigzag nei colori bianco/giallo/marrone, all’interno della gonna vi stampato “Lenci MADE IN ITALY”. Il viso è incorniciato da un fazzoletto nero con lunghe frange. Completano l’abbigliamento la sottogonna e i mutandoni di tela bordati di pizzo, le calze e le pantofoline marroni. La bambola è alta 36 cm., e ha tutte le caratteristiche delle bambole Lenci: le braccia e le gambe a snodo, la cucitura a zig-zag dietro la nuca, i due puntini bianchi nell’iride degli occhi, le orecchie applicate e le dita centrali della mani unite insieme. Le condizioni sono perfette, e conserva ancora tutte le splendide sfumature rosate sul viso e sul corpo. Place a Bid!
